Runsite is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for deploying applications. It builds and deploys your app on every git push and provides managed PostgreSQL databases, Redis-compatible caching, S3-compatible object storage, transactional email, and custom domains — all from a single dashboard. It is designed for indie developers and small teams who want to focus on building products instead of managing servers. Billing is pay-per-resource and metered hourly: you pay only for the hours each service runs. There are no per-seat fees, no bandwidth/egress surcharges, and a hard spending limit that pauses services before you exceed your monthly cap. Every plan includes, at no extra cost: automatic SSL certificates, auto-deploy from Git, unlimited team members (no per-seat fees), custom domains, real-time logs and metrics, and rollbacks. Users set a hard spending limit; services pause when the cap is reached, so there are no surprise bills. The free tier is permanent — active apps stay warm with no cold starts, and containers only sleep after 14 days with no traffic, waking on the next request. ## Data Residency and Compliance All compute, databases, cache, storage, and email run in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Data never leaves EU borders.
